It has been recently estimated that around 40% of the kids are attempting or using marijuana at least one time before having to leave high-school, which is quite a surprise to everyone!

Apart from this just take a minute and think that there can not be at least a single American person who can say that they haven’t meet a person who didn’t admit to have smoked once in their life marijuana. When you think again you can not stop wondering about the implications that can be rather shaky!

There is the belief that exists among parents that their children would never be tempted to do this. This can not happen as long as you hear the effects that the use of marijuana can affect the ones who smoke it.

When you come to think of it – celebrities serve many times as role models for your kids and with many o f them being arrested for drug abuse you do not know what else is there to give your kids other patterns than of yours, of which they are already tired, so they say!

In this situation the only role you can play as a parent is to make your kids understand that these celebs are in fact human being like all of us and they are also doomed to fail, maybe sometimes more often than ‘common’ people.

It is a tough task that you have in this case with celebrities influencing so much the life of your kid. The part that you have to play is not to allow kids to see those people smoking marijuana from behind the screen as anyone else but people similar to the neighbors next door who are out in the garden doing the lawn.
