Legalizing Marijuana Would Stop Drugs War?

Due to the Drug Wars that is carried out over the border in Mexico, a series of crimes has been escalating already and not only there, but also inside the territory of USA. Many people live by the belief that legalizing marijuana would stop the Drugs War as long as it would be regulated as well as taxed. In this way, the drug cartels will have their power weakened by taking those large amounts of cash out of their hands.
This can not be true as long as Drug Cartels have on their ‘administration’ far more other dangerous drugs to give them huge profits, thus allowing them to be everywhere and doing exactly what they want to do. Being a clean border twin police officer you can see all these and you can expect that your life time to be shortened with every day that passes when going to work.
There is however a large number of USA citizens who would like to see how marijuana is legalized as what the government is doing with all the Drugs War seems not to give any positive results, but only make the things worse.
The point is that all these people involved like how the things are with controlling everything because they own so much money and they have power over things. As such, government just does what these involved people like to see: that their competition is removed, not caring for the damaging effects that THC in high amounts can bring to the human body.
Allowing for the legalize of marijuana it will only lead to other legal, health issues that come together with this regulation. In order to stop the drugs war in Mexico this can not be a sane argument if we consider that those who vote for it are actually using it, as well.
